Do you think this invention would work?

I want to make a pawn-shop casino.. where instead of betting money, you can bet .. oh i dont know, a TV? so then if you win, you choose another TV or maybe something in same price range.. Things would be arranged on a wall like they are at an arcade where you buy crazy items for certain tickets?Do you think this invention would work?

I think people would prefer cash, that way they can just go buy what they want. Who is going to carry their tv to a casino? Imagine the mess on the texas hold em table. TVs and stuff instead of chips in the pot.
