Will this motherboard work with the gtx 295?

I want to buy this motherboard ';Asus S775 INTEL P45 DDR2 ATX AUDIO LAN P5Q PRO '; but it only supports ddr2 but my graphics card ';Gainward GeForce GTX 295 1792MB GDDR3 PCIE 2XDVI'; is ddr3. Does this mean they aren't compatible?

Thanks a lotWill this motherboard work with the gtx 295?
it will work. Will this motherboard work with the gtx 295?
The type of ram on the video card doesn't matter. What matters is that the Graphics Slot is for The Form Factor of the Card.

The motherboard has a PCI-E X16 slot and thats what the card is.

You are good to go.

You could have ddr1 ddr2 ddr3 ddr4 or ddr5 on the motherboard or graphics card and it will still work fine. They dont have to match between the graphics card and system memory.
It will work. Video ram and system ram are completely separate.
