How does this point thing work on yahoo answers?

I'm new to Yahoo Answers and i was wondering how you collect points and all that and can your points be taken away?How does this point thing work on yahoo answers?

You get two points per question you answer. If your answer gets picked as best answer, you get ten points. The asker can pick your answer as best, or people can vote on it. You will get an e-mail in your yahoo account that says if you have a best answer. Points get taken away only when you spend them. You spend them by asking questions.


P.S. You have to be a Level 2 to vote on answers, that means you need at least 250 points.

answering questions two points.


voting for undecided questions one point.


this can be done on any level


rating answers you need to be on level 2 or higher


one point is given if an answer is written and rated the best.


thumbs down nothing


if you answer is chosen as the best then you get 10 points.


choose the person who answers your question best


you get 3 points.


new participants get 100 points.

if an answer is deleted then -2 points are deducted


and if there is a violation then -10 points is deducted.
