E bay so is this how it works? i gave paypal my account details (solo card) no although i have no actual money

in my paypal account, they pay the seller via my solo card yes??

Now if the seller only excepts paypal, does that mean i can't buy the item if i have no cash in paypal???

sorry guys old dog and new tricks here!!!!E bay so is this how it works? i gave paypal my account details (solo card) no although i have no actual money
if it is a solo bank account and card it will take 3 working days for your funds to come out of your bank account and pay pay pal, it sets it up like a direct debit from your account, make sure in 3 days you have the funds from your account or you will go over drawn with the bank and be charged what ever your bank charges for going over drawn with them.

the seller will be paid as soon as you send the payment with pay pal, pay pal just take the funds back with direct debit

kind regards x kitti xE bay so is this how it works? i gave paypal my account details (solo card) no although i have no actual money
when you buy things, pay via paypal, and the money is taken straight out of the bank account the card is linked to
Thats pretty much the idea. Your bank account funds your paypal account. If there is nothing in your bank to fund your paypal. You cant make purchases. It might allow the transaction but your bank will bill you if you incur an un authorised overdraft

But

If you sell something, dont make the mistake I made in thinking that the money went thru your paypal account into your bank. It rests in your paypal account until you instruct them to transfer it into your bank account which they will do for a fee.

Or, you can leave the money from your sale in your paypal to use as full or part payment on future purchases.

Example: you sell an item for 拢30. This money is now in your paypal account. You then buy something for 拢20. This comes out of your paypal account and you have 拢10 left in it. Your Solo account is not touched

You then buy something else for 拢20. The remaining 拢10 in your paypal is used up, plus a further 拢10 from your solo account. Geddit?
yes if you dont have cash in your account paypal cannot take it to pay the vendor ,
No, you don't have to be in credit in your Pay Pal account, they will bill your account after you have bought the item, I must say, that I have always had good service from Pay Pal!
I'm assuming your solo card is a debit card, your bank card, right? That's all they need. If you make a purchase from someone who only accepts PayPal, you then authorize PayPal to withdraw the funds to pay them. You don't have to have cash in PayPal. PayPal is the only one who can withdraw the funds, not the seller.

I use Bank of America and I have a Visa debit/credit card. It works with PayPal.
You don't have to have money in your paypal acc to buy, it comes off your card. Look up cradleoffilth1975 to view my stuff.
if you buy something and they accept paypal your fine as long as you have money in your bank account, they just debit your bank thats all, you dont actually need funds in your paypal account.
did you give paypal a credit/debit card #? if so they will take it from your credit card when you purchase something. paypal has been very reliable for me.
