has anyone done this and does it actually work. if it works can someone explain how?Does this actually work and increase the strength of my router's signal?
It makes your antenna directional, which will attenuate signals that are not in the newly-formed direction of focus, but will strengthen those that your antenna is now ';looking toward';. It'll take a little fiddling and experimentation.





Note that if you're trying to gain access from a variety of locations that are in disparate directions from your router's antenna, those not in the path of focus will suffer.
