How do I talk to this guy at work?

He seems really really shy... but he's soooo cute. The only contact I've EVER had contact with him was one time he was pushing this thing and I was walking out and we kinda crossed paths and he smiled and let me go ahead of him. So obviously I have NO clue if he has any interest, because he's so shy! I've never seen him talk to anyone and we're all really friendly at work, so I just don't know how to start the conversation.

It's obvious you're going to be the one to who has to start the conversations due to his shyness. You two work together, so right there you have something in common and something to talk about.





The question is, is there a time and place to talk? Do you have control over when you take your lunch break? I agree with another answerer, ask him to take a break with you.





When you first start talking I would keep it simple and ask him about his shifts and whether he likes them or not. Once you become more comfortable talking to him (if you're not) and vice versa, you can start talking about other things like your interests.How do I talk to this guy at work?
ask him to take lunch break with you. try %26amp; make it routine. have small talk. eventually when time passes you'll have more to talk about. with more conversation there are possibilities of doing things together outside of work, either with a group of friends or just the two of you. by then you'll be able to read what his interest is in you, if any.
Just ask him to go to a coffee shop with you after work before he goes home.
