Can a philippine-born foreigner with i-card work legally in this country?

we were informed by the immigration officer that a foreigners with i- card are not allowed to watch over the store or even work? is this true? if so, does this rule also apply to the native (philippines) born foreigners with i-card?Can a philippine-born foreigner with i-card work legally in this country?

there are lots of foreigner (with i card) born in the Philippines, and were told that they weren't allowed to work/watch over the shop in this country. they were raided by the immigration officer and were ask to give money (under the table) or go to jail. Before only follow by citizenship of the fathers, and later it change by former president Cory, that the children born after at 1980+ (I forgot the Report Abuse

It means the people who born before the say year of 1980+, if there grand-grand-grandfather are not Filipino citizen, even their grandmothers and mother are Report Abuse

And to prevent the retail and basic services鈥榮 business fall under control of the foreigners, because it is basic economic structure of a country!!! Report Abuse
