I have a 73 Corvette. The hood release works but passenger side will not open. How do I fix this?

you might have to take the wheel well out and get access to the latch. the cable may need adjustment or the latch is out of adjustment. if you can't do it take it to a good body manI have a 73 Corvette. The hood release works but passenger side will not open. How do I fix this?
i own a repair shop and i think the latch needs adjusted on it i have restored one of thees cars,and they have dual locks on them and if one don't release all the way it will not open right,you might try seeing if you can re-shut ,it and get it to open up,if you get it open you need to adjust the latch toward the back of it ,its probably to far forwards and that's whats hanging it up..good luck i hope this help,s.I have a 73 Corvette. let me think!! first off, get the hood open. push in on on the right


side of the release hinge. that should open it.... once open degrease all ...like engine , hood, and anything greasy. spray down with wd40. there should be a brass coupler with a set screw


to adjust the wire . you will figure it out. once you adjust the couplers, they will open together...and the hood will pop up... just like the headlight adjustments.. hope i helped you bye Larry


PS dont get the degreaser on the paint of your Vette. wet the car down with water first
