Can someone show me how to work out this equation? Thanks! = ) 3^6/2 - 4^5/2 = ?

If you mean (3^6) / 2 - (4^5) / 2 then

(3^6) / 2 - (4^5) / 2 = 729 / 2 - 1024 / 2 = 364.5 - 512 = -147.5

If you mean 3^(6/2) - 4^(5/2) then %26lt;----------- i think this is what you mean

3^(6/2) - 4^(5/2) = 3^3 - sqrt(4^5) = 27 - 32 = -5

There you go!Can someone show me how to work out this equation? Thanks! = ) 3^6/2 - 4^5/2 = ?
3^6/2 - 4^5/2

= 3^3 - sq rt (4)^5

= 27 - sq rt (4x4x4x4x4)

= 27 - 4x4x2

= 27 - 32

= - 5 (Answer)Can someone show me how to work out this equation? Thanks! = ) 3^6/2 - 4^5/2 = ?
Why don't you look at an example similar in your class book, it will show you steps to get the answer...
you turn them into improper fractions then subtract
