How does this work?

...Egg nuclear transfer - does this enable 2 people of the same gender to also have an organic biological offspring? How does it work? How does this work?
Egg nuclear transfer is a two-part process. First, the nucleus is removed from an egg and the nucleus of an older donor cell is placed where the old nucleus was. Through this process, two people of the same gender can have an organic biological offspring. Hope this helps. How does this work?
Somatic cell nuclear transfer (SCNT) is basically cloning:

- The nucleus of an egg cell is removed via a pipette.

- The nucleus of a somatic cell (with a full set of chromosomes) carefully removed via pipette and injected into the empty egg cell.

- The egg cell is stimulated (usually via an electric shock) to simulate fertilization, which starts the division process.

- The dividing blastocyst is then implanted into a surrogate mother where it grows an clone embryo of the DNA donor.

The embryo will contain the inserted DNA and will be a clone of the DNA donor.

So in answer to your question, it WILL allow couples of the same gender (or even different genders) to have an organic biological offspring (or more specifically, a clone) but only of one of them at a time.

Further implications would include the fact that the offspring will suffer from accelerated aging, since the somatic cell DNA has a shorter telomere. (Dolly the Sheep)

Of course, doing this with human cells with the intent to produce a human is pretty much outlawed in most countries.
