Is it too late to find work in Ibiza for this summer?

I want to find work in Ibiza but I realise that its a bit late now and some people go over there end of May/early June. Is it too late to find anything now?Is it too late to find work in Ibiza for this summer?

I know the other answers have probably put you off going over there now but believe me - you will find a job. If its simple bar work/PR'ing or restaurant work you will be absolutely fine. For these reasons:





1.) Its mainly students who go out for the summer. They don't go out until the middle of july or whenever they finnish their studies. This shows there are still jobs at this time.





2.) People go out may/june like you said BUT around this time the partying wears off and some of the people realise they are unable to work such long hours and its not the highlife they expected. So they return home.........leaving more jobs available.





If I was you i'd book a week holiday out to Ibiza and constantly look for work during that week. Ask local bars, restaurants and clubs and if they don't have any work then ask them to point you in the right direction. They will be more than happy to help.





Atleast this way you have return flights if all goes wrong. however, I am 99% sure you will find work. I understand, like the answerers said above, that most locals are struggling to get jobs. However this doesn't apply to the party places full of mainly british tourists so the pubs n clubs want British speakers - something most Spanish tourists cannot provide.





I hope you have a great time. It will certainly be an experience - non stop working and partying. You will be out there - in Ibiza until mid october. Therefor you still have over 3 months of fun. Enjoy!!Is it too late to find work in Ibiza for this summer?
From what I have heard, it was too late to look for work for this summer, LAST summer! Not a lot of work to go around, and LOOOOOOOOOOOOTS of people looking! jobs, such as they are, are going to the citizens of SPAIN, not to Brits looking for work now.
Are you from spain or a native, if not fat chance because whatever jobs are out there will for sure go to a Spaniard over a typical american that just think they can just up and move to spain and speak english and everybody will understand them and get a job

The season is well under way and any jobs that might have been available are most certainly gone now.
Unemployment in Spain and the islands is at an all time high,you`d be lucky to find anything ,,
What work are you on about. The locals can't get work so how do you expect to find any!
Yes, it is, and more with 20% of unemployed in Spain, they dont wait for you.
