Computer to computer ';Calls'; are free, as long as you are not dialing a phone number, and are ';calling'; their yahoo ID. It does not expose anything more about you than they already had by knowing or guessing your Yahoo ID.How does this calling another computer work?
You see you might need a messanger like yahoo. Then Hook up a connection with Your phone and there will be a option called Call...Note if u call someoine from pc u wont hear the ring from ur phone
it goes from 1 PC to the other but that is from your provider you know phone or cable etc. they connect you to all hell out there so wake up smell the Coffey and deal with it
Normally for someone to call you, they have to get in touch with you first, i.e. ask for your permission to be added as your ';friend'; in yahoo, msn or skype, then they can call you.

Check your settings, you may be expose to general public, if you want to avoid, only allow calls from your contact list of friends...

When you call people from pc to pc, it runs on the internet line and you shouldn't be charged extra...coz you will already be paying for it.
